About Stevie Shao With a love for the plant and animal life of her immediate surroundings in the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle based artist Stevie Shao blends her Chinese backgrounds and bold colours into visuals that immediately grab your attention. Destination: Joseph, Oregon
In the far east of Oregon, close to the border of both Washington and Idaho, you can find the small city of Joseph, situated next to Wallowa Lake and at the foot of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. On Main street you’ll find the landmark Jennings Building, this brick dating all the way back to 1910 has been revamped into an art and design focused boutique hotel in 2014 and is hub for the creatives of Joseph and the rest of Oregon. The perfect location for our fifth annual Jaunt Summer Camp.

Bogotá is the beating heart of Colombia, situated on a plateau of the Andes mountain range, the capital lies at an altitude of 2,600 meters, providing you with ample stunning getaways just outside of the city. Back in the city itself you can find the cobbled and historic ‘La Candelaria’, home to the Museo Botero, showcasing Fernando Botero’s art, along with a series of well preserved colonial buildings featuring many of the city’s bars and restaurants.

On the north coast of Oregon, you can find the small city of Manzanita, a pretty oceanside destination with pristine white sandy beaches for miles on end. At the edge of town, you can find the beach house of Clay Walsh and her wife Lisa Congdon. You might know Lisa Congdon, as we've previously send her on a trip to the Painted Hills. Now she is opening up her beach house for us and for Sebastian Curi to stay here during his trip.

Destination: The Coast Starlight Train
Stretching all the way from Los Angeles up to Seattle, and even further up north to Vancouver, you can find the train tracks of the Coast Starlight Train. By all accounts a pretty epic train ride up the West Coast of the United States, with special observatory carriages on the train. While the last part from Seattle to Vancouver is technically not part of the Coast Starlight Train, it does perhaps provide the most scenic scenes while driving right by the coast line on its way up to Canada.

About EGS As one of the most internationally recognized graffiti artists from Europe, EGS has a been leaving a trail ever since he started writing the three letters E, G and S on walls and trains all throughout Europe and later the rest world, since the late 80’s. At the heart of his work is his eagerness for travel, and to see beyond the geographical and social borders of one’s own country or community. This reoccurring theme is portrayed in a body of work that spans from classic graffiti, to contemporary painting on paper and canvas to traditional glass blowing.

Situated in the north west of Northern Ireland, close to the border to Ireland lies Londonderry, also known as Derry. The only remaining walled off city of Northern Ireland, with its history dating back to the 17th-century. Nowadays largely known as a flourishing artistic and cultural hub, the city carries its history along with it, from the Siege of Derry to Bloody Sunday.

Destination: Cantina Martinelli, Italy
A stones throw away from the city of Verona, you will find Cantina Martinelli. Here, in the classic area of Soave, you will find the old vineyards on the volcanic soil of Fitta. The home of the grapes which are grown to produce the natural wines that Cantina Martinelli has become known for. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with spontaneous fermentations. Always with the intention to make a low intervention natural wine that expresses the most of its grape and its terroir.
For his stay we have connected Tellas with Francesco Martinelli. Francesco, with his artistic background coming out of photography, design and music is now the winemaker of Cantina Martinelli and Tellas his guide through the vineyards and canteens of the area. During the week Tellas will be getting familiar with and be a part of every step of the process of artisanal and traditional natural wine making.
